A glass shop in Rochester, in the trade since 1992.
Washington Window & Glass Services is owned and run by Andy and Crista Avron. One shop, one crew, a warehouse of glass and parts, and a phone that rings at the counter.
What we are, and what we are not
We are a glass company. We cut insulated units, mirrors and tabletops in our own warehouse, we stock window and patio door parts for brands that stopped making them years ago, and we install what we sell with our own crew. We are not a replacement-window sales operation with a showroom and a commission structure, which is why the first thing we check on any call is whether the window can be repaired.
The business has been in the glass trade since 1992, serving Thurston, Pierce and King counties and the surrounding area. Andy and Crista Avron own and run it today. Crista runs the office and the phone; customers name her in their reviews. The installers are the people customers name too.
How the shop works
The things customers mention most, written down.
Repair first
A fogged or cracked window is usually a glass unit, not a new window. We say so, and we quote the repair.
Our own crew
No subcontractors. The people who measure are the people who install, and they come back if something needs adjusting.
Wholesale pricing
We buy direct and nobody is on commission. One written price for glass, parts and labor.
Stocked warehouse
Glass cut to size, shower doors, mirrors, and window and patio door parts, including discontinued ones.
24/7 board-up
Break-ins and storm damage do not keep office hours. The phone is answered around the clock, holidays included.
We service what we sell
A window we installed is a window we will come back to. One number to call.
